 | I’ve written computer programs since the mid 1980s. Algol → PL/I→ C → C++ → Java → Scala. I’ve worked on several well-known products and services, like Oracle RDBMS, Essbase OLAP database, GoldenGate Veridata, ishares.com, and LendingClub. In recent years, while working on an open source A/B testing middleware , I made a clean break from Java to Scala—currently my language of preference. I hold an MS degree in mathematics from Kharkiv State University in Ukraine and live in the San Francisco Bay.
